Armed Forces Community | Social Networking for Service Men, Women & Their Families

“Working with Pearse Street was a great experience. They had many great ideas and helped me to realize them. They were always available to help with any issues I had and have a very knowledgeable, experienced staff. I would recommend Pearse Street to anyone and will continue to go to them with my business in the future.”

–Michael T. Aiesi, Owner, ArmedForcesCommunity.com

New military social networking website, Armed Forces Community, connects members of the military with each other and their families. Members can share stories, exchange information, find support, post badges and videos, start blogs, and much more.

As a whole, there is no site that has this much available for the service member in one place. There will also be a section devoted to organizations that deal specifically with veterans and their families.

Phoenixville, PA (PRWEB) November 6, 2008 –Recently launched military social network connects members of the Armed Forces Community with each other and their families through new social networking capabilities.

The Armed Forces Community social network allows users worldwide to create profiles, showcase ribbons and badges, post videos in a YouTube fashion, find support, and start blogs, forums, and conversations with other members of the social network. In addition, members can search for other members with similar service backgrounds by zip code.

“The websites that are currently available for military personnel are mostly forums and blogs that do not capture the full social networking website concept. Of the few that do, there are many that require subscriptions, certain types of email requirements (ROTC or .mil), and are branch specific. This will be a site that enables all members and their families to connect with each other,” says Michael Aiesi, founder of the social network and former Infantryman in the US Army.

Armed Forces Community will help parents, spouses and children stay in touch better than ever before. Families of deployed soldiers are encouraged to sign up and meet fellow families in their area for support.

“As a whole, there is no site that has this much available for the service member in one place. There will also be a section devoted to organizations that deal specifically with veterans and their families,” adds Aiesi.

Registration and use of all the website’s features are completely free. Sign up at Armed Forces Community today.

Rower’s Room LLC - Quincy, MA
Social Networking Website Design

Rowersroom.com was created in the summer of 2008 during the Olympic Games in Beijing. It was spawned from a long desire to connect the world of rowing in a more consistent forum allowing for direct interaction from users. The hope is that it becomes a forum for rowers, coaches, coxswains, parents, race officials and supporters to share and discuss all things rowing.

The site is owned and operated by an ex-collegiate rower who has gained much personally and professionally from his rowing experience. His hope is that by expanding the interactions of the sport that it will continue to grow and become a part of more children’s lives providing that same energy, passion and commitment that it did for him.
