About The Project

In collaboration with Stamats, Inc., Furman University enlisted our services to develop a Facebook-style social network to serve multiple user types, including students, prospective students, alumni and parents. This robust website serves as the official social network for Furman University, attracting and engaging its current campus, as well as alumni and prospects who want to stay connected. The network allows users to join multiple interactive groups, from interest groups to majors to campus offices. The site has also recently served as a gateway for prospective students to enroll for early admission, representing the university's first online enrollment form.

The administrative panel allows F.U. staff to manage content ranging from FUnet blogs to group content, allowing them varied access to different pieces of the site. Pearse Street provides ongoing maintenance and support for the network as its membership grows and its features evolve.
