Returning HomeCreate, share, honor.
About The Project
Returning Home is an online interactive resource that creates a welcoming space to share stories of our men and women in uniform—from those who served in the first World War to those returning from the current conflicts. Working with a client-designed concept, Pearse Street integrated its core social network features as well as advanced social media integration and the ability to attach multimedia files to both blog stories and community groups. The resources provided on the Returning Home site will allow family and friends of our uniformed men and women, as well as those supporting our troops during the war effort, to have a place of their own—to be honored and remembered. In addition, many of the stories on the site will be archived at the Library of Congress so that these men and women will forever be a part of history.
Returning Home is a politics-free site designed to help troops and communities open the lines of communication and begin to heal and support each other. Medical professionals, historians, and schools will be utilizing this site as a resource to help others heal as well as teach others about the duties and sacrifices of those in uniform.
Client Testimonial
"I have had the pleasure of hiring Fuchsia and her company, Pearse Street, to work on a national project for us. We had initially hired two other web companies for this project and inevitably they failed us. As a result, we were under the gun and over budget to reach our personal and professional goals with this project.
When I approached Pearse Street, Fuchsia assured me that they would be able to create a website that matched our mock-ups and would be able to deliver on time and on budget. Though our site is pretty complicated, Fuchsia and her team stayed ahead of schedule and really impressed us with what they created.
Having spent over a year searching for a web company I could trust to get the job done, I can confidently say I can strongly recommend Fuchsia and Pearse Street. I look forward to continuing to work with Fuchsia and her team in the future."
